Property flash flooding and repair of the drainage ditch
The initial damage to the wall behind our garage happened on July 6, 2022. The city started on repairs July 12 (Added rock to the wall.) More work was done in December to rebuild the walls in the drainage ditch, and a new drainage inlet was installed in the yard Feb 2023. Our street and corner floods whenever there is heavy/steady rain for more than 15-30 minutes or so but it drains off quickly. The levels in the yard and the ditch were the highest I’ve ever seen it on July 20, 2025 (I’ve lived here with my mother since November 2019.)
